Fidelity TalentSource is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Fidelity Investments. We are currently sourcing for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer to work within Fidelity's Workplace Investing group in Durham, NC!

We are seeking a candidate looking for the opportunity to apply their PL/SQL software engineering expertise in a quest to partner with our Data Platform organization on our drive to modernize our core enterprise recordkeeping capabilities.

The Team

We are constantly looking to improve the team. We need a new team member who can make an immediate impact. The team consists of a variety of skills and experiences. We are a global organization with representation in North Carolina, Rhode Island, Texas, Chennai and Bangalore, and Dublin with IT skills that span from legacy mainframe platform technologies to distributed and cloud technologies.

In our drive to modernize our business solutions we are seeking a software engineer with deep expertise in Oracle and PL/SQL to partner in the implementation of our strategic recordkeeping roadmaps. Therefore, the candidate must have a very strong distributed platform and cloud development background. We are organized within WI in Agile squads that dynamically produce business solutions, and the candidate must be a strong leader and teammate passionate about consistent delivery of quality capabilities.

responsibilities:

The Expertise You Have

BS/BA Degree
Minimum of 5-8 years of data engineering experience
Hands-on experience working with PL/SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, DB2, ETL, and Informatica
Hands-on experience developing new PL/SQL stored procedures
Hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL tuning and optimization
Experience with Java, Python, or Scala are a plus
Cloud experience with Azure and AWS Certification are a plus
Front-end development using Angular is a plus
Agile methodology experience with CI/CD
Experience using data streaming tools like Kafka and loading data to low latency caching data stores like Redis is a plus
