Duration - 12+ months

This position requires the consultant to be onsite. This is not a remote working opportunity. The consultant may work remotely for an initial couple of weeks.

Job Description for OPH (Oracle Product Hub (SaaS))

Candidate should have experience articulating solutions to stakeholders as this role involves discussions at various levels with client business users. Responsible for gap analysis of functional flows, provide solution design, perform a demo for the Gaps solution from standard solution sets as well as customized solutions. Can independently solution business requirements and recommend industry best practices. Should be able to lead cross-functional discussions to analyze the requirements and brainstorm the solutions. Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs. Recommends, develops and executes plans for additional software module implementations based on business requirements Act as functional advisor and manager of technology resources. Prepare design documentation and work with application delivery resources as necessary to support business requirements. Adept at creating business process models based on the requirements. Adept at mapping industry trends and best practices to the client's unique requirements and processes to determine applicable fit. Capable of defining, and re-engineering business processes. Able to present solutions described above to senior client management via whiteboard and PowerPoint. Knowledgeable about the Oracle applications functionality, tools, templates and method and able to set up the system to meet the desired business process and requirements. Adept at working with clients to develop testing scenarios and test scripts and leading teams in unit, integration and acceptance testing.

WHO WE RE LOOKING FOR? Successful Consultants will have the following background:

Experience in solution architecture and writing functional specifications, functional solution design for technical development.

Systems implementation skills: business process design and redesign, reengineering, requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management and support

Consulting skills: business analysis in a variety of industries, able to articulate at the C-level, self-motivated, team-oriented, positive attitude, with a can-do, jump-right-in attitude

Excellent written and verbal communication including presentation skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments

Strong business background, working knowledge of generally accepted best business principles

Effectively produces deliverables

Ability to identify, assess and mitigate relevant risks during project execution

Detail oriented with strong information-seeking skills; Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Organized and detailed oriented

Essential Job Functions

Responsible for the holistic Product Master Data Management technical design
Support Oracle Product Hub (Oracle Fusion cloud Product) project team delivery efforts for Master Data Management by developing common MDM application objects and data integration routines (i.e. hierarchies, attributes/properties, export/import routines, validations, business rules, workflows, UIs, restful APIs).

Work with business users and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver master data solutions for Item/Product master; Employ best practices in the design
Create Item/Product master data model to fulfill the needs of the overall supply-chain applications

Maintain configuration documentation for Oracle Product Data Hub;
Configure Oracle Product Data Hub along with Data Security for full access; limited access; view-only access

Produce data mappings between legacy and Fusion master list of values; Provide guidance on data cleansing in legacy environments; Create data conversion designs and data validation processes; coordinate data conversion/validation

Create training documentation; Train Master Data Management team on processes related to new product introduction; product maintenance and sunsetting)

Coordinate and Administer MDM deployments and migrations between environments

It is currently our objective to assign our people to work near where they live. However, given the nature of our business and our need to serve our clients, our employees must be available to travel when needed. This role requires 100% travel flexibility to travel and work onsite with clients (typically Monday - Thursday)

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum of 12 years) work experience.

Minimum 10 years' experience working with OPH

Possesses end to end implementation experience and Hands-on experience with Oracle Product Data Hub (Oracle Fusion product).

Has strong expertise on the business processes and best practices with the following areas (individually and cross-functionally) that closely related to Items/products:

Inventory Management (items, Kits, MRO, product Categories)

Sales Order Management (Customer, Items, Kits)

Basic Financials (Customers, Suppliers)

Implementation experience and strong expertise and best practices with master data management:

Expertise on best practices related to functional master data domain Items (products, MRO, etc.), product categories, etc.

Hands-on experience with configuration of various Product Data Hub components including Security roles; Data load process of Loading Master data into Product Data Hub

Experience with data quality management; data governance; data consolidation and data standardization; Share-ability of data across business divisions; Reporting/Business Intelligence

Ability to perform data analysis and provide guidance on data cleansing approaches
