Description: Our client is currently seeking a Oracle eBusiness Supply Chain Business Analyst

Description/Responsibilities

  • Exciting opportunity with Oracle eBusiness Suite Release 12.1.3 environment including Supply Chain (Inventory, Order Management, Purchasing), Financials (AP, AR, GL, PO, FA) and Project Costing. Required skills include functional knowledge of Supply Chain modules and eBusiness Suite Business Processes.
  • This IT position will be the "liaison" between IT and business stakeholders. This role provides product and process leadership for all projects, enhancements, and day to day production support issues for these business areas. This includes participating in solution design, performing configuration and testing of our Oracle Supply Chain, Inventory, Procure to Pay process, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Transactions to and from our Suppliers, integration of Supply Chain data with other applications and managing all SCM business reporting needs. Will coordinate work with managed services resources to translate customer requirements into detail technical requirements that are used as the beginning point in the software solution development process. The Business Analyst (BA) also is involved in creating requirements-based test plans and in performing testing of the business processes. Often the BA is involved in identifying, analyzing and streamlining the customer business processes associated with software solutions.


Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with Corporate Systems team and managed services partner in the design, development, and deployment of the organization's Oracle 12.1.3 eBusiness Suite Supply Chain modules.
  • Perform all configuration, best practice setups, and integration efforts for Order Management, Inventory, and Purchasing modules
  • Develop requirements using document analysis, user discussions and requirement workshops
  • Support and guide business functional users in making appropriate business process and information delivery changes/decisions to deliver desired results.
  • Responsible for translating business requirements into functional specifications, manage integration and business process testing.
  • Understand and support all SCM Reporting requirements. Support and coordinate EDI/ eCommerce gateway interfaces and manage relationship with vendors, trading partners and service providers
  • Support business flow integrations
  • Prioritize break fix/enhancement requests with managed services partner and Business Users to ensure delivery and acceptance of prioritized requests in a timely manner
  • Responsible for creating and/or maintaining documentation for support team and end users for break/fix, enhancements, and business processes.
  • Ensure that all processes and documentation are adequate and effective to meet specifications and audit requirements.
  • Strict adherence to SOX controls and Change Control


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in supporting and implementing enterprise applications (ERP, Supply Chain) and at least 4 years of experience in implementing Oracle EBS/Cloud ERP Supply Chain modules.
  • Broad functional experience and understanding of module configuration and integration with the Oracle eBusiness Supply Chain, Procure to Pay and Order to Cash cycles (R12.1.3 and above preferred)
  • Awareness of Payables, Receivables and General Ledger modules is highly desirable
  • Experience with Noetix Web Query, preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Ability to multi-task between various projects and support efforts
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be an effective communicator (written and oral) across all levels of organization, including users, developers and management.
  • Experience documenting requirements and developing system / user test plans.
  • Able to solve complex problems and make compelling and persuasive presentations to win approval for recommendations.
  • Able to think and analyze critically.
