Title:               Organizational Change Management

Location:        Los Angeles, CA

Summary:

The Organizational Change Management role is responsible for developing a change management process with a structured methodology to create a strategy that will support enterprise-wide adoption of the changes required by a new contingent worker classification and tracking solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement change initiatives related to business processes and technologies.
  • Develop and deliver project strategies and plans, including stakeholder mapping and analysis, communications, leadership alignment, organization transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training.
  • Create process models, specifications, narratives, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to the program team.
  • Ensure ongoing stakeholder and user engagement, and articulate the ways in which changes will affect the users on a day-to-day basis. Identify project stakeholders, stakeholder characteristics, and associated change impacts.
  • Document the existing processes and changes to the processes.
  • Contribute to the program and project planning with change management related activities.
  • Perform the impact analysis from a change management perspective.
  • Facilitate meetings to ensure an understanding of the current company culture, and develop a change adoption plan.
  • Create and develop implementation readiness materials.
  • Plan and execute communications and training.
  • Develop training approach including logistics, curriculum, materials, communication and execution.
  • Support hypercare activities.
  • Develop short and long-term goals, KPIs, and objectives, and develop and execute against program plan.
  • Track and report issues / risks and develop risk mitigation strategies and tactics.
  • Must be able to operate strategically as well as tactically and be willing to roll-up sleeves as needed

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years’ experience leading change initiatives with a solid understanding of how people react to technology/process change and its impact
  • Experience with planning and building large-scale organizational change, communication management, and training approach and plans
  • Experience working with external implementation partners on global IT system deployment projects
  • Experience working with detailed technical information and with technology
  • Experience leading and indirectly managing cross functional team members and stakeholders in complex organizational change activities
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with external and internal customers, at all levels of the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to a complex and changing environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to operate strategically as well as tactically and be willing to roll-up sleeves as needed
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others
  • Experience in project management
  • Media industry experience a plus
  • Change Management Certified is a plus
