PHP Developer Job Description
Looking for a motivated, collaborative and experienced developer to join a successful company with the opportunity to take ownership of a product line.
Your primary responsibilities will be to be the primary developer on a .Net based SaaS product with a strong market share. As such, you will be instrumental in the success of the product line.
Primary responsibilities of this position are new feature development, maintenance, configuration, and support on a set of existing PHP applications. You will need to be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects as well as to provide a vision for the future of the software platform.
The ideal candidate should be a team player and an excellent communicator with an ability to work with a team of developers and IT professionals to participate in technical decision-making. This means that you need to be able to prioritize work, create possible solutions, and provide recommendations to support the development of new features and improvements to the existing platform in support of the growth objectives defined.
Develop functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. Revise, update, refactor and debug code Test and deploy applications and systems Participate in requirements analysis Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
5+ years of professional experience building B2B enterprise software as
5+ a PHP Application Developer Experience coding in PHP, MY SQL,
Comfortability in debugging existing work and troubleshooting across systems independently Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (MVC, REST, RPC) Excellent communication skills BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field Bonus Partner / User-first mindset Knowledge of AWS Console, RDS, EC2, SQS
