Job Description

This is for a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) Company and there are hiring in multiple locations

The Patient Enrollment Specialist/Patient Educator will help potentially save lives by introducing and educating residents of nursing homes and other facilities about the ground-breaking research and enroll volunteers in clinical studies.

You will excel in this role if are good with people/empathize with those in pain, have an approachable personality and good presentation skills to explain the benefits of the clinical research to the residents. Additionally, you will be assisting with screening-related activities to ensure eligibility.

Responsibilities:

Conduct outreach projects using database information.

Schedule and plan visits and events to present study information.

Execute enrollment. This includes verification, data entry, and documentation.

Offer study participation and provide tentative study information to potential study volunteers

Follow-up with participants via calls or follow-up visits

Build and maintain solid relationship with study volunteers by providing excellent customer service

Enter recruitment contacts into the clinical study participant database in a timely manner. and communicate important information to the clinical teams.

Collaboration with study team and PI to continuously improve procedures

Communicate protocol requirements to study subjects and contribute to compliance

Demonstrate positive attitude to the subject population to ensure subject's trust in clinical research

Job Qualifications:

1-2 years' experience in clinical studies recruitment

Detailed oriented, with strong planning/organizational skills and the ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively

Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and Federal Regulations on Clinical Research and Good Clinical Practice guidelines

Knowledge of medical terminology and medications.

Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

8 Hour Shift

Monday to Friday

Local travel required.
