The IT Solutions Manager - SAP HCM & Kronos is accountable for the whole lifecycle of the North America Payroll Time Keeping solution (predominantly using Kronos (UKG) Workforce Central in conjunction with SAP HCM) as well as the solution’s commercial success. This is achieved by closely integrating the customer, IT solution team and the required IT Products and Services to Run and Build an IT solution that meets the needs and expectations of the HR and Payroll Organization.

  • Is accountable for planning, building, deploying, running and phase-out of the IT Solution – orchestrates responsible roles
  • Manages customer requirements, including input for IT Products/Services development
  • Pro-actively consults the customer in optimizing the Solution (technical, commercial) and in regards to standardization
  • Plans activities for IT Solution within planning processes in close alignment with the experts in the Solution Team and Product/Service-teams (Solution Roadmap)
  • Integrates IT Products/Services into customer’s environment according to customer specific needs to create required benefit for the customer
  • Manages IT Solution’s dependencies and integration of involved IT Products/Services in close alignment with relevant Product/Service Owners. Takes over accountability for interfaces
  • Analyzes and communicates KPIs (incl. service level targets for Solution and affiliated Products/Services, customer satisfaction and benchmarking)
  • Is accountable for all commercial aspects of the IT Solution
  • Ensures achievement of objectives (measured by KPIs) through appropriate measures
  • Develop and sustain a close working relationship with the internal Human Resources customers in the North America region


  • 5+ years of experience managing major IT platforms as a product or solution manager
  • 5+ years of experience designing, integrating and supporting HR business processes in IT solutions using Kronos (UKG) and SAP HCM.
  • Experience in leading/steering teams
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to lead functionally and motivate the IT solution team
  • Good understanding of Human Resources, Time Evaluation, Payroll and Benefits business processes and how they are supported by IT solutions
  • Good understanding of relevant Enterprise IT products/services as well as customer environments
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar areas
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and influence others across a large organization
