Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability assessments & penetration testing (VAPT) on networks, desktop, Edge, and cloud.
• Identify threats, and develop test cases to target identified threats
• Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in products under test
• Carry out remote testing of a client's network or remote testing of their infrastructure to expose weakness in security
• Simulate security breaches to test a system's relative security
• Create reports and recommendations from your findings, including the security issues uncovered and the level of risk
• Identify problems and provide advice on how to minimize risks, methods to fix or lower security risks to systems
• Present your findings, risk, and conclusions to management and other relevant parties.
• Create a report based upon penetration testing.

Good to have Technical Skills:  

• Metasploit
• Moving laterally on the network.
• Capture the flag, CTF
• Network exploration tools like masscan and nmap. (These should be second nature)
• Kali
• Pentera
