Reporting to the TL Manager, HRPC Data Integrity, the incumbent runs audit reports (daily, weekly, monthly etc.) and corrects/updates data accordingly. S/he analyzes daily workflow issues, provides periodic status reports, and reports pertinent findings and recommends solutions. The TL Analyst, HRPC Data Integrity, is responsible for the direct day-to-day maintenance, review and validation of the data, including but not limited to: supporting all activities related to Time and Labor processing and operations, including scheduling and monitoring the Time and Labor Administration process; Time and Labor timesheets, absence management information, electronic hire/rehire data elements and position management information.
Under direction of the TL Manager, HRPC Data Integrity, s/he troubleshoots Time and Labor and support activities, including resolving time exceptions; resolving discrepancies to ensure timeliness of payroll processing; supporting Departmental Time Administrators, Supervisors, and Managers in troubleshooting process issues. Works with Payroll, Benefits and other HRPC Managers as part of a team to direct/assist the HR Service Center Analysts, provide appropriate information so that accurate/timely responses can be delivered. Collaborates with all units internal and external to HRPC to ensure accurate data is ready in the system for processing of payrolls (weekly, bi-weekly and monthly) and ensures/maintains an even (regular) workflow to effectively meet all payroll deadlines.
The TL Analyst reviews all payroll information related to the Time and Labor module of PeopleSoft, including analysis of timesheet and absence data to ensure accuracy so that system configurations work as expected. Executes time administration processes and reports; responds to employee inquiries relating to timekeeping, payroll and HRIS issues; monitors manager/time reporter compliance by performing periodic system and time audits; and assures timely and accurate data entry of individual employee profiles and time approval groups.
Creates and/or updates work schedules, reviewing accruals and takes, and correcting other data as needed. Creates and runs ad hoc queries and prepares Time and Labor reports for Senior Leaders and Departmental Time Administrators; reviews and prepares payline adjustments; analyzes and assists in the resolution of cross-functional exceptions errors associated with the Time Administration process within the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) System.
Analyzes and reviews trends and works with the HRPC TLAM team to assist in the development of new TLAM and/or other data audits as needed.
Reviews issues escalated by the HR Service Center Analysts to Tier 2, conducts analysis and research to resolve issues or provide answers to the Analysts to resolve at Tier 1.Processes Faculty and/or Administrative position requests and/or organizational changes.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent required. Two years of related experience, preferably in an HRIS or Payroll environment that includes management of multiple processes. Strong computer skills and experience with PeopleSoft required. Experience with PS Query required.

Experience with process management/improvement preferred. Experience with SQL preferred.
