Solution Specialist - Performance Engineer

Work you'll do/Responsibilities
•Participate in providing improvement of team service levels including productivity, quality, and timeline accountability
•Analyze project processes, and make sure processes are being following in accordance with SDLC methodologies
•Assist in risk mitigation and management of change processes
•Work with project teams as well as Senior project management on delivery process documentation and process reporting
Our Government & Public Sector Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.
Government & Public Sector Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience
•Responsible for supporting and independently completing project tasks related to Performance Testing
•3+ years of experience in Performance Testing, Performance Engineering and identifying opportunities for Performance Tuning
•3+ years of hands-on experience in leading industry tools such as Load runner, JMeter or Rational Performance Test
•3+ years of experience in developing performance test scripts for visual studio web applications using multiple protocols
•Strong understanding of infrastructure and application performance monitoring, web services and soap requests
•Knowledge of the performance engineering and performance testing methodology for carrying out batch volume, load, endurance, stress and scale testing
•3+ years Load runner and/or JMeter experience
•Ability to design and execute load tests using Performance center (or JMeter) according to the requirements
•Strong understanding on infrastructure and application performance monitoring
•Strong development experience in SQL and Transact-SQL using Oracle DB
•Web technologies and methodologies (XML, SOAP, REST, etc.)
•Using the command line terminal, source control systems such as SVN or Git, and defect tracking system such as Jira or Trac
•Willingness to live and work in the Mechanicsburg, PA area
•Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
•Centers for Medicare/Medicaid systems experience
•Health and Human services industry experience
•Knowledge of monitoring tools such as NetScout nGeniusONE, LogicMonitor
