Platform Support Manager Job Responsibilities: Work with support operation team, change management team and all development teams to coordinate the efforts of production system support including system analysis, troubleshooting and performance tuning, as well as planning of production release and post-production validation/monitoring. During occurrence of major system outages/incidences, lead analyzing and troubleshooting the issues, and resolving them in a timely manner. Lead production release of large scale applications across multi-systems, prepare risk analysis report, as well as organize post-production validation and monitoring activities. Work with support operation team and development teams to define monitoring metrics and practices, follow up on the effectiveness of them, and make the adjustment/correction according to the results. Lead the efforts on analysis of system monitoring data, identify risky trends, and provide analysis results to all development teams. Help maintain and execute platform's Backup and business continuity plan. Create and update high-quality documentation for maintaining/administering/monitoring the platform, including process documentation and Support Knowledge base articles. Exercise judgment in prioritizing work coming in from multiple teams, building strong relationships with multiple teams Ownership attitude towards issues to work with multiple teams and drive resolution. Experience: 10+ years of experience in platform operations and support of a large scale enterprise platform. 5+ years of design/implementation experience with enterprise applications. 3+ Years of experience with configuring highly available, scalable clustered environments, as well as setting up, administering, performance tuning and ongoing monitoring in a large scale deployments. 3+ years of experiences in J2EE technology. 3+ years of experiences in Database development in Oracle. 2+ years of experiences in system monitoring/Logging Analysis tools, such as Sumo Logic, New Relics, etc. Working Experience/knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, Elastic Search, Cloud Watch, etc. Extensive experience/knowledge with infrastructure/application architecture is a plus. Good understanding of Web Services (SOAP and REST), messaging development and Integration architecture is a plus. Experience/knowledge to dive deep in areas such as networking, middleware, databases and security technologies is a plus. Excellent analytical ability to trouble shoot issues in Production environment. Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organization success. Willingness to adapt to and self-learn new technologies and deliver on them. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders, at various organizational levels. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related technical degree, or equivalent industry experience, and a minimum eight years of IT experience.
