The position will include 2 key components...
Portfolio Governance (50%-75%):
Operationalize the governance model with key vendor stakeholders to create a sustainable process to manage PAS Projects, including product launches, strategic priorities and small enhancements.
Oversee and govern the Patient Access portfolio of projects to ensure project prioritization and visibility timing predictability and flawless execution
Act as central point to manage priorities, timing and status for all projects; Identify risks in on time delivery, due to Janssen or vendor issues.
Identify areas to optimize/pull forward projects, based on resource availability
Support change management activities to adopt the new governance model;
Communicate to broader PAS team the portfolio status, risk areas or opportunities
Develop and maintain metrics on the governance process, including time through process, accuracy of vendor assessments, on time execution, etc
Project Manager (25%-50%*) based on availability remaining after governance work
Implement key projects that impact multiple Therapeutic areas. Activities may include project scoping, oversight, stakeholder engagement, communication and metrics
Support communication and change management for owned projects
Report on project-level metrics, as required process
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree (Business, Operations or related fields) is required.
3 or more years of Portfolio Management experience, including the development & launch of portfolio management processes, is required
5 years of Project Management experience is required
3 or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
Strong process mapping, change management, analytical and interpersonal skills are required
Ability to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders at various levels is required
Understanding of project and portfolio technologies and systems is required
Experience managing projects and vendors effectively is required
Ability to communicate effectively with others, including managing conflict to drive standardization and adoption of required processes.
