seeking talented Software Technical Leads/Chief Software Engineers to join its team, and lead the development and deployment of systems and services for its Mission Networks organization. A technical lead may also assume the role of Chief Software Engineer (CSWE) or Deputy Chief Software Engineer (DCSWE) for a program or pursuit. The technical lead will drive and champion the software processes for all software-related activities within a program, and be responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, and enforcement of all said software processes.

Direct program software build baselines.
Plan program software builds and upgrades.
Coordinate program software development support.
Lead the program defect process and prioritization
Report software productivity metrics.
Lead all program software related issues and actions.
Conduct risk assessment of issues associated with software.
Work closely with the software Configuration Management team(s).
Work with other teams for scheduling and technical conflicts.
Manage software resources.
Lead program Configuration Control Boards.
Resolve issues identified by Configuration Management and Quality Assurance.
Ensure design reviews are planned, executed, and action items closed.
Development, modification, and/or ownership of software branching models, release controls, and related software development processes for programs.
Engagement with software teams regarding training, code, and process reviews.
Work with programs to resolve scheduling and technical conflicts.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferably in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field), and a minimum of 10 years of applicable experience.
Minimum 10 years with major programming languages, such as C, C++, C#, Java.
Team-player, able to work in a large program environment and have good communications skills.
Strong experience in the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Strong experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Spiral, Agile/Scrum, etc.).
Previous Software Leadership experience.
Self-starter, with high initiative and drive.
