Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems sector is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Test Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Apopka, Florida. Put your years of experience into a future of excellence at Northrop Grumman. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Center of Excellence-Apopka site's team working to support programs that support our end user, the war fighter.

The Test Engineer is responsible for providing support to engineering environmental testing including: vibration, shock, temperature cycling, temperature shock, humidity, immersion; and other climatic and dynamic tests. The individual must be able to perform system characterization surveys, perform data analysis of results, and create survey reports and other applicable documentation. The Test Engineer will also be responsible for providing technical advice and support to Manufacturing's engineering stress screening (ESS) personnel in the following capacity: programming of temperature and vibration test controllers, maintain test databases, creating and assisting in the development of test and equipment procedures, creating and executing training programs for production testing. Designing of test setups and fixturing for vibration and thermal production, DVT / Qualification testing.
