Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an experienced Cyber Systems Administrator
capable of advanced Network Administration for a 24x7 global classified operation in Montgomery, AL
This Administrator will configure, deploy and maintain network technologies; develop network equipment configuration plans that provide operational efficiencies, availability, and ensure all network equipment conforms to DoD security posture requirements.
The Administrator will provide advance Tier III troubleshooting for issues beyond the range of operations administrators.
Installs, configures, maintains and provides advanced level troubleshooting of DoD WAN and LAN network infrastructure
Ensures all equipment is maintained in compliance with DoD cybersecurity controls and policies
Analyzes network performance and provides appropriate action plans to improve issues related to latency or degradation
Validates operational readiness of proposed software patches and upgrades; schedules and performs updates on equipment at remote sites
Configures, installs and maintains routers, firewalls, switches, packet brokers and load balancers
Develops network topology designs and transport options and provides subject matter expertise for new and emerging requirements
Designs, develops, and implements disaster recovery strategies and fail over operations
Develops and maintains detailed network documentation to be used for inventory, accreditation, briefings and proposals

Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant IT administration experience; OR a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant IT administration experience; OR an Associate's degreeplus 8 years of relevant IT administration experience; OR 10 years of relevant IT administration experience in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (CONUS/OCONUS) approximately 25% of the time.
Current SECRET clearance, with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance
Must have a current, or must obtain prior to starting, a DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 or higher certification.
Expertise in Juniper JUNOS and Cisco IOS operating systems
Familiar with routers/firewalls/switches, Load Balancers, packet brokers, and security appliances
Ability to configure and operate in-line network encryptors
Knowledge and experience applying DoD cybersecurity control
Experience in the configuration and troubleshooting of BGP
Basic Linux skills
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
