We're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Procurement Manager to join the Finance team.

This position requires critical skills in time management, workflow process, scheduling, trafficking, and project management. The Procurement Manager will help manage the following types of projects: developing global systems, leading global communication on progress, owning GDPR compliance, etc.


The Procurement Manager will review and support all project requests in Smartsheets. You’ll need to demonstrate a deep knowledge for the financial and procurement workflow process. Ultimately, you will help manage multiple queues of finance projects that will need team members assigned and schedules maintained. You’ll also work with leaders to prioritize projects and resources.

Role Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the team and project leads to support the design, development and maintenance of procurement materials
  • Communicates scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with finance team members and stakeholders
  • Traffic jobs and serve as the liaison between other teams/departments; speak to work flow/process, needs, and status updates on behalf of the finance team
  • Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements, and presentations to team leadership and other management
  • Manages changes to project scope. Identifies potential issues and collaborates with business leads and project owners to develop contingency plans
  • Supports regular team meetings to manage schedule, obtain updates, discuss issues, and resolve problems with projects and requests
  • Determines frequency and timing of meetings for projects to facilitate the management of project
  • Leads kick off calls with stakeholder(s) and business lead(s) to define project scope and goals
  • Creates meeting agendas and provides updates post-meeting; issues meeting invitations and notifications
  • Attends meeting and takes meeting minutes to record status, agreements, issues, and follow up requirements. Updates requests / projects status with meeting recap
  • Communicates milestones, priorities, bottlenecks, and other major problems which affect a successful delivery
  • Works with business team and stakeholders to identify the level of communication detail needed for requests and projects
  • Selects appropriate methods to communicate the information
  • Identifies critical issues quickly to enable successful project management
  • Acts as subject matter expert on the use of Smartsheet application and other related platforms/collaboration tools and trains users on these applications and tools
  • Requests missing information / needed clarification to complete Smartsheet tasks / projects; provides actionable information to assigned team members
  • Monitors request statuses in all queues and reminds users to update / respond
  • Ensures proper utilization by users and works with users to improve Smartsheet usage and request submissions process
  • Acts as first-point of contact for application issues that users experience
  • Prepares quarterly documentation to include: overall workload, key accomplishments, lessons learned, and outcome metrics where applicable
  • Demonstrates a solution-driven, creative and flexible personality and work style; develops and maintains cross-functional relationships in order to effectively manage conflicts and deliver results
  • Remains current on all procurement and all finance training
  • Continually evaluates our workflows and tools for scale and efficiency
