This role will be part of a growing team that is working on building out the next generation point of sale platform using a modern tech stack and offers an opportunity to work with the latest technologies to build the next set of applications that will push the company forward. This position will work closely with internal business partners and stakeholders to define the product vision, assist with strategic planning, and initiate the product road map, articulating the epics and features that will populate the product backlog. The Product Manager defines the acceptance criteria to develop comprehensive test cases, obtains business approval for the delivery of successfully tested software, and demonstrates features of the products to the business and/or facilitates user acceptance testing.
The Product Manager will also work closely with customers to identify business objectives and needs, provide guidance for strategic planning and software application vision, elicit business requirements, assist in refining business cases, analyze production issues to facilitate resolution, recommend appropriate business process enhancements, encourage customers to own, define, and validate their own requirements, and communicate and translate technology concerns and recommendations as related to the solution. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of owning and delivering large scale initiatives that is both transformative and useful from an innovation, usability and design perspective.
Translate customer needs into business, product and user experience requirements
Own and drive end-to-end product strategy and requirements, prioritize complex deliverables, and drive requirement discussions.
Manage product lifecycle from beginning to end (definition, project management, implementation, testing, launch)
Work cross-functionally with design, development and engineering teams from development through testing and launch
Provide guidance in the development of product roadmap including identification of key technology and solution gaps
Write user stories and acceptance criteria that accurately reflect the needs and requests of customers
Create and update product roadmaps and effectively communicate any changes to the business users
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
5+ years of experience working as a Product Manager/Business Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment
Possesses clear understanding of business processes and value propositions and able to provide strategic guidance to product teams
Track record of owning and driving end-to-end product requirements including prioritizing complex deliverables, driving discussions that lead to solutions and running large meetings with technical and business teams
Proven and successful experience with managing end-to-end new product launches including deep understanding with innovation funnel and effective product lifecycle planning
Ability to engage in customer settings and discern client business needs
Retail industry experience preferred
Strong communication skills with ability to interact, influence and align with all levels of the organization, both internal and external
Strong strategic and analytical thinker with exceptional execution and problem-solving capabilities

Previous experience in a Scrum Master role
Experience working with a CI/CD development pipeline
Experience working with Point of Sale systems
Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and Web based applications
Experience with data analysis and the ability to perform SQL queries to support analysis
Experience with SaaS, cloud based technologies, and mobile platforms
