Title: Program Manager

The BTS (IT) Program Manager will provide technical project management and business program management for key strategic initiatives supporting the brand team. This role will work closely with all internal groups and external third-party service providers to establish project plans which consider critical tasks, durations, and dependencies. The Project Manager is expected to be autonomous in the management of meetings, solicitation of agendas, distribution of meeting minutes, tracking completion of action items and regular updates on project status.
Specifically, the Project Manager is expected to:
Develop, execute and manage the project within the defined scope.
Manage a multitude of interrelated projects within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of the project.
Partner with business sponsors/key stakeholders to confirm project success criteria.
Responsible for the overall project delivery consisting of large concurrent projects which are managed by multiple project managers.
Establish and ensure transparent reporting of project status, issues, risks, and financials.
Initiate and Plan Project: Works with business and IT management to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives, financials and deliverables. Responsible for building the plan and resource needs to accomplish the scope.
Project Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues, and risks will affect the project working with business and IT management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution. Measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to the original plan and budget.
Executing and Closing Project: Leads project managers and teams in developing and executing a project plan ensuring that authorized resources are obtained to make certain that all activities are performed. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders.
Project Communication: Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to project teams, business, and IT management. Makes recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues and manage risks.
Resource and Team Management: Coordinate resources to ensure project and business needs are addressed through proactive priority management with business and IT management. Motivates and mentors project managers across the project s project workstreams.
Quality Management: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and functional policies and procedures.
Decisions: Make decisions that impact project-level activities. Influences or has final decision authority for the project budget.
Overall: Ability to influence without owning, establish and maintain high-quality relationships with all cross-functional team members, promote collaboration to assist in planning and executing projects, including gaining consensus on project goals, objectives and deliverables.

Lead defining Project Roadmaps and schedules by collaborating with a cross-functional team

Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with all cross-functional areas within commercial operations and develop a thorough understanding and knowledge in the science of the diseases, the business, and challenges.

Assesses the degree to which changes to scope; issues and risks will affect projects working with department, management, and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution
Troubleshoots issues with frequent follow-ups with vendors until there is a firm and complete resolution
Prepares concise, informative, well-organized and impactful PowerPoint presentations summarizing results and insights
Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders.
Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to Project Team, Department and Division management.
Seeks to leverage proven frameworks, methodologies, and best practices in projects and advocates for the implementation of those methods in a reusable fashion
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures
Exhibits a culture of integrity, excellence, initiative, and compliance.
Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Systems/Computer Science or related discipline.
o At least 10 years of demonstrated experience in managing projects
o At least 10 years experience in project management, business systems analysis, software development or deployment.
o Minimum 15 years of combined experience
Exemplary oral and written communication skills
Proven track record of effective project leadership and positive results
Proven Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills are required
Individual must be able to work full time on-site
Ability to work in fast-paced and ambiguous environments with minimal oversight
Experience working in Pharma/Life Science or similar industries
