Job Description:


Removed the Powerbuilder req exp and replaced with broad experience in recent object-oriented programming (to be able to do gap analysis of current system and provide recommendations).
MUST be interested and eligible to consider FTE role in 6 months without sponsorship. Must apply to the FTE role and go thru reg hiring process for the client to be considered. Full time employment is not guaranteed.
Programmer Analyst shall provide maintenance support and patch management for the client Enforcement Tracking System (ETS) which uses Powerbuilder to ensure continuous uninterrupted operations during an existing position vacancy.


Support existing agency Enforcement Tracking System (ETS) application maintenance support.
Evaluate, analyze, modify, test and debug application as needed to maintain application functionality.
Update and maintain application system documentation.
Provide systems analysis and design reviews for application integration and improvement processes.
Follow the established processes, policies, standards and procedures to assure compliance with state and regulatory policies and standards.
Ability to communicate (oral and written) technical concepts and application procedures to non-technical users.


Broad experience in object-oriented programming (to be able to do gap analysis of current system and provide recommendations).
Significant skill and experience with embedded and interactive SQL data manipulation language. Experience with Unix/Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems. In-depth experience in systems analysis and design processes.
Working knowledge of and experience RDBMS, SDLC, application integration and improvement processes, change control, version control, and data dictionaries.
Exceptional communication skills, teamwork and customer services skills are required.


Degree or certification in Information Systems or Computer Science (or a related field of study) or equivalent experience.


Comprehensive experience in object-oriented programming (required - 7 yrs) - Required - 7 Years
Working knowledge of web-based application design and integration (highly desired - 5 yrs) - Highly desired - 5 Years
Working knowledge of and experience in RDBMS and SDLC - Required - 7 Years
Advanced knowledge and experience with SQL - Required - 7 Years
Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems - Required 7 Years
Hands on experience in application integration, change control, version control, and systems analysis & design Required 5 Years
Exceptional teamwork and customer service skills - Required - 4 Years
Effective communication skills - both oral and written - Highly desired - 3 Years
Experience with Unix/Linux operating system - Highly desired - 3 Years
