Project Administrator 1
Pittsburgh, PA
Long Term Contract

The Project Administrator assists and supports the assigned Project Manager(s) in executing project objectives and deliverables, planning the work according to the objectives, and assessing and controlling risk for the project. A Project Administrator will not be accountable for the delivery of a project.

They are responsible for meeting project objectives within established time frames. Responsibility examples:
1. Project Administration/Reporting
2. Adds resources to projects
3. Maintain risks/issues log and remediation plans
4. Completes weekly status report in Clarity under Project Manager direction
5. Performs weekly project data quality review
6. Updates Project Status in release SharePoint Sites
7. Helps create meeting agendas
8. Learns and enforces required processes
9. Completes required project documentation (with Project Manager Review and Approval)
10. Assists the Project Manager on the Review / Validation of Quarterly Assertion(s)
11. Track project expenses (invoices) against budget
12. Assists with financial reporting
13. Completes timesheet reviews / ensures timely completion by all on project team
14. Monitoring of EVM (CPI and SPI), Run and Burn Rate review and tracking
15. Coordinates meetings on behalf of the Project Team
16. May facilitate Scrum Ceremonies on Agile Projects when necessary
17. Generation of Meeting Minutes and uploads them to PPM Tool / Clarity
18. Updates Sharepoint Sprint Calendar with vacations, ceremonies, milestones
19. Coordination of Lessons Learned / Retrospectives

Position Requirements:
1. Training and working knowledge of Clarity
2. Training and working knowledge of Jira (or other enterprise Agile tool)
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
5. Knowledge of IT standards, procedures & policies
6. Basic understanding of Project Management Methodologies (PMLC, SDLC, IDLC)
7. Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and practices
8. Effective communication skills
9. Effective organizational and planning skills
10. Accuracy and attention to detail
11. Analytical thinking
12. Problem solving
13. Customer focus

15. Interpersonal Skills
16. Basic understanding of scheduling and resource management

Education Requirements
Associates Degree or similar amount of time in experience in position
