Job Description

Title: Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA 94105

Duration: 12 months+

Looking for Someone with below skills

• Prepare technical review, development, revision, and maintenance of Deemed Program work papers and associated databases.

• Provide engineering assessments of new products and/or technologies which may have the potential to produce energy savings for client customers, and Assist Emerging Technologies group with technical assessment projects to determine the energy savings potential of new energy efficient technologies.

• Review lighting workpapers and technologies, DEER calculations, code baseline, cost updates, and understand standard practice baselines

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

BSEE Exceptional analytical ability Excel and database skills (ACCESS)

Ability to manage time-sensitive priorities in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous situations Track record of meeting and/or exceeding business commitments

Strong initiative, teamwork, accountability for results, customer focus, and sound judgment

Project management experience

Desired Qualifications

Professional Engineer License

2+ years post-graduate engineering experience

Operations experience SCADA experience

Hardware/software troubleshooting experience

Metering and/or substation experience

System integration experience

Responsibilities:

This position provides primary assistance and technical assistance to the Core Products rebate programs aimed at residential, multifamily and small commercial customers. This position will work closely with the technologies lead in the Engineering Services Workpaper Group. In addition, this position may also support Emerging Technologies, Core, Third Party and Government Partnership calculated retrofit projects.

Primary responsibilities include:

Provide assistance to Product Managers and others as needed with product technical assessments, rebate program development, engineering calculations, application reviews, and contracting for energy efficiency work;

• Prepare technical review, development, revision, and maintenance of Deemed Program work papers and associated databases.

• Interface with the CPUC Energy Division on selected project applications, opinions and work papers.

• Provide frequent status updates and assistance to Product Managers,

• Provide engineering assessments of new products and/or technologies which may have the potential to produce energy savings for client customers, and Assist Emerging Technologies group with technical assessment projects to determine the energy savings potential of new energy efficient technologies.

• Review lighting workpapers and technologies, DEER calculations, code baseline, cost updates, and understand standard practice baselines.

• Schedule and complete pre-commitment and post construction field verifications and reports for new construction projects; Schedule and complete pre-application and post- installation technical reviews for retrofit projects;
