Job Description

Our Client, an industry-leading manufacturer of specialized industrial systems, is currently seeking candidates for a Project Engineer role. This individual will play a key role in their organization, working with Sales, CAD Designers, Manufacturing, and Procurement to ensure that customers receive a finished product that meets their technical requirements and is delivered on time.  Our ideal candidate will enjoy variety and be able to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities across multiple projects.

  • Review Mechanical and Electrical drawings from the drawing library and create redlines for any modifications to standard designs or mounting.
  • Review specifications and perform calculations to size pumps and accessories.
  • Review and transfer BOM’s into SAP.
  • Utilize the Project Log to project expectations on timelines for activities.
  • Field technical questions from internal staff, consulting engineers, distributors and end users.
  • Review submittals & O&M’s prepared by the Documentation Team for engineering approval.
  • Work with purchasing and suppliers to source non-inventory items.
  • Continually increase knowledge of products and processes.



  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend piping schematics/Process & Instrumentation Diagrams.
  • Basic Electrical knowledge and the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings/schematics
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize numerous projects.
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive customer and interpersonal relationships
  • Proficient computer skills, including CAD, Word, Excel, and Outlook


  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience with chemical feed and control equipment.
  • Metering pump and/or control panel experience.
  • Water & wastewater applications experience.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP another ERP system for production planning and bills of material
