Job Title: Project Manager- Electric Vehicle Architecture, Manufacturing, Assembly
Description: STG is a SEI CMMi Level 5 company with several Fortune 500 and State Government clients. STG has opening for Project Manager. This position based in Auburn Hills, Michigan is for a Fortune 500 client of STG and expected to be long term. STG will provide immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to candidates in the US, if needed.
Oversee high-level program(s) of complex natures. Takes project(s) from original concept through final implementation. Lead, instruct, direct, assign, and check the work of team members. Required to assign Project Manager to manage cost, schedule, and performance of component projects, while working to ensure ultimate success and acceptance of the program. Must ensure continuous alignment of scope and strategic business objective, and make recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness toward business result and strategic intent. Determine and coordinate the sharing of resources among project constituents to benefit the overall success of the program, while building credibility, establishing rapport, and maintaining communication at all levels. Demonstrate expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a Manager or Senior Manager.
-Bachelor's degree in a related area, Electrical Engineering highly preferred.
-5-10 years of experience in the field or in these areas:
Electric Vehicle architecture and assembly
Electric vehicle manufacturing or design
-Work closely with engineering to understand product requirements for electrical vehicle assembly and develop standards for General Assembly equipment that meets all engineering requirements.
-Demonstrate strength in assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completing of project and meeting deadlines of project.
-Strong communication skills both written and verbal
-Proficient with Google Suite/Microsoft
-Will be required to travel locally to area plant locations 10-20%
