Job Description

Senior Project Managers in the Managed Services or Healthcare industry might be interested in joining this existing team to work onsite with our local client. This long-term temporary-to-full-time employment opportunity is based in the Torrance, California area. You could be the Sr. Project Manager our client is looking for, if you like the idea of managing key projects as part of their strategic business plan. You'll do well in this job if you can serve as a key member of the team by ensuring that changes are delivered to the expectations of stakeholders. Major responsibilities

- Operates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

- Governs deployment scheduling in coordination with Dev Ops, Product Owner, and tech lead

- Fosters help to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

- Applies as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - ensuring the team is working effectively, leading scrum ceremonies, and clearing obstacles

- Determines project with correct ticket workflows and boards

- Initiates project planning

- Supplies the daily stand-ups, safeguarding they are brief, focused, and timely

- Amasses facts from business analysts, technical leads, and QA leads into references

- Places schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines

- Submits detailed reporting to management on risk assessments, milestone completion, and project status

- Works closely with the Product Owner/Product Manager, Business Analyst, QA Manager and Product Specialist

- Watches and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

- Cooperates with Product Owner/Product Manager to assure that the product vision and high-level business objectives are evident and realistic

- Secure that the functional requirements are achievable, tracked, and met

- Contributes to identify, classify, and manage risk for functional improvement requests

- Colludes and communicates with stakeholders, developers, technical team members and designers

- Plans and governs the sprint planning and grooming meetings and traces ticket assignments

- Get involved to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap with the Product Owner/Product Manager

- Sustain the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

- Provides the RACI matrix for projects in a product line- Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

- You're sure to succeed in this position if you are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies

- Database management experience required

- Network architecture experience desired

- Prior success in project management, supervisory leadership, and operational management

- Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

- You're sure to succeed in this position if you are flexible and focused

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience

- Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures

- Can work independently with minimal supervision

- You might be a good fit for this position if you have a Project Management (PMP) certification
