JD Edwards Financial Functional Lead
Immediate need for experienced Functional JD Edwards Consultant who has EnterpriseOne 9.x implementation experience in any combination of the following financial processes:
? General Accounting
? Accounts Receivable
? Accounts Payable
? Fixed Assets
Specialized skills in the areas of Service/Contract Billing, Advanced Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Accounting, and Multi-Currency are also an emphasis.
A solid understanding of business process is essential. We are hiring professionals who will be able to consult/discuss business process with the stakeholders, facilitation teams, as well assist in the implementation of the product updates.
The successful candidate will:
  • Have 5+ years of experience implementing and working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial applications;
  • Possess excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Have the ability to work independently as well as within multi-disciplinary teams
  • Utilize outstanding time management skills
  • Have at least 5 significant JD Edwards implementation or upgrade projects where resource was the functional lead for JDE E1 Financials
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in using leading implementation methodologies to execute Oracle implementations
  • Possess an undergraduate degree
  • Be able and willing to travel up to 10% of the time
  • BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years JD Edwards (E1) Financials experience is required.
  • 5+ years of integrations experience with ERP and related applications and/or multi-system, enterprise level software.
  • Applied knowledge of the application development life cycle. Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies a plus.
  • Great communication skills with proven ability to collaborate with colleagues in a cross-functional team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail; assures accuracy, clarity and quality of work.
  • Ability to plan tasks and track progress against an integrated team project plan.
  • Sound business judgment and the ability to escalate critical matters to management promptly.
  • Ability to identify potential risks, impacts, and software dependencies.
  • Experience in Process documentation.
  • SQL knowledge.

    Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • 3 years of recent advisory or consulting experience
  • Project management or team leadership experience.
  • CPA and/or accounting/finance education
