Job Description

We have a Project Manager role available immediately with a fast-growing company in Duluth. This is a Direct Hire role with excellent benefits.

In this role, you will manage multi-technology installation projects to service a national footprint of multi-site retail customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the customer experience and meet or exceed all project requirements
  • Manage projects from beginning to end ensuring timelines and delivery dates are met
  • Ensure gross profit margin is maintained or improved during the life of the project
  • Provide customer written and verbal reports, provide project status, and attend all customer conference calls/meetings as required
  • Develop and execute the project plan and smart sheets including scheduling, staging, installation guide development, reporting and other project activities and milestones
  • Track project progress using appropriate metrics and tools
  • Ensure both external and internal project milestones and metrics are met or exceeded
  • Adjust developer priorities and reorganize project assignments to bring a steady flow of projects to production
  • Monitor project progress daily to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Hold project team members accountable for meeting their goals and delivery timeframe
  • Ensure that the department maintains cash flow by rapid completion and invoicing
  • Deliver regular status reports and meeting minutes both internally and externally
  • Work closely with the team to drive strategy and tactical execution

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor s Degree (Business, Engineering, IT or other technical degree preferred)
  • PMP Certification
  • 5 years of experience in IT or telecommunications project management (hardware deployment and managed services)
  • 3 years of experience managing national multi-site IT/telecom installations and rollouts on a Fortune 1000 customer base
  • 3 years of experience with networking, low voltage, digital signage, and similar products and systems desired
  • 3 years of experience with field services (technicians in the field performing installs)
  • Experience navigating/utilizing a CRM system including order creation/management
  • Technical Certifications a plus (CompTIA+, Cisco, MS, etc.)
