QA Test Engineer
-Develop Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Analysis Reports and ensure project related test deliverables adhere to policy and meet requirements.
-Identify, mitigate and when necessary, escalate risks and issues related to test.
-Provide periodic metrics/ reports from ALM and report project status/health.
-Assist project members with infrastructure and application performance monitoring and analysis.
-Evaluate overall system capacity during end-to-end load tests.
-Work tightly with software development, architecture and system engineering for performance testing and application analysis initiatives to define and document testing standards
-Work closely with the test management team to establish performance testing criteria.
-Strong experience with JMeter, Unix commands and scripting to gather system KPIs, DB performance monitoring using native tools.
-Ability to tune enterprise web app components (JVMs, app servers, Databases) is a definite plus.
-Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant major from an accredited college or university with 3+ years of continuous and progressive experience or Master's Degree in a relevant major from an accredited college or university with 1+ years of continuous and progressive experience.
-An emphasis on Quality Assurance (QA).
-CTFL Certified Testing Foundation Level Certification.
-Minimum of one (1) year experience and working knowledge of HP ALM 12.2/12.5x Suite of testing tools (to include Performance Center, VuGen, UFT & Agile Manager).
-Ability to plan, schedule, and report results of all aspects of all testing activities - (Functional, Regression, Automation, Performance, Security, Integration, User Acceptance, and 508 Compliance).
-Must be experienced in validating the functionality software as well as in designing, building, implementing, and carrying-out effective testing strategies utilizing various types of testing strategies.
-Must possess the ability to understand the entire business strategies and be able to dive deeply into technology issues in order to define comprehensive solutions to suit the USCB business strategies.
-Must have experience using ALM to analyze testing results.
-Must have experience with Mobile Application performance testing.
-Strong experience with Linux.
-Proficient with SQL (inserts, updates, Joins and etc.).
-Skilled with continuous integration tools and performance monitoring plugins (Jenkins, Selenium).
-Understanding of Agile software development and implementation methodologies.
-Experience with Agile and Scrum is a plus.
