We are seeking a results driven Test Lead to join our fast-growing Test Team. The QA Test Lead is responsible for managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You will meet with Stakeholders and gather test requirements; create LOE (Level of Effort), test plans and test cases from the requirements; lead a test team of Mobile Website/Mobile App testers; be responsible for testing in both a lab and production environments from a consumer’s perspective; and execute manual test cases. This role reports to the Manager of Testing.
Review and provide input on test strategy, defect reports and other deliverable created by test managers, test technicians and analysts
Perform audits for adherence to adequate configuration management of test ware, including safe storage of test strategy/plan/case, test data, test scripts, test results and other test assets.
Ensure team follows company policies and procedures for change management, incident management, release management, disaster recovery, and security.
Management of deliverable include standard and process definition and validating and reporting on adherence.
Develop Key Performance Indicators for the area of expertise.
Maintain staff capacity plan.
Be a team champion and sponsor.
Provide leadership direction and coaching for project tasks as well as career development.
Facilitate and build winning relationships with peers, partners and vendors.
Perform Conflict Management as required.
Effectively facilitate meetings with project team members, various business groups and senior leadership.
Present product demos persuasively and effectively to client executives overseeing product.
Efficiently manage time, prioritize work, and multi-task across several project assignments.
Communicate and interact a professional with all levels of staff and management to coordinate project deliverable, deliver status reports, and facilitate meetings.
This role requires an onsite presence for code roll-outs (night and/or weekend work)
3+ years of proven experience working independently with little or no directions.
5-8 years of QA experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional reading comprehension skills
1+ year of leadership experience.
2+ years of experience in the review and comprehension of BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) and FRSs (Functional Requirement Specifications).
5+ year experience in the design and development test plans and test cases.
5+ years MS Suite Knowledge
Knowledge of IOS, Android, Windows phones from user perspective (know how to use the phone).
1+ year of Quality Center, Jira or Rally experience.
5+ years defect process and workflow experience.
1+ years Mobile Devices testing experience is required.
1+ year of Project Management.
5+ years of Advance Troubleshooting.
