QA Tester

Location: Des Moines, IA

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and perform complex testing tasks
  • Develop, update and maintain testing standards and procedures
  • Confirm alignment of the requirement traceability matrix and assist with developing test scenarios
  • Develop and execute test cases and document results
  • Ensure that all testing procedures allow for requirements and design specifications to be met
  • Work with the team and/or client to resolve issues that may arise during testing
  • Perform functional administration, configuration and utilization of testing tools
  • Identify, create and secure test data as necessary
  • Collect, track and report test metrics

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or other related science/technical discipline with previous work experience as a QA Tester
  • Previous experience working on Child Welfare projects (PREFERRED)
  • Able to interact and coordinate with senior management and all non-technical/technical members of the organization
  • Ability to maintain test plans, test scripts, test schedules, and test completion reports
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Automation testing methodology
  • Possess a strong understanding in UAT processes such as test scenario and test case design, functional testing, system and regression testing.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
