Knoxville, TN | ERP Business Analyst | Full time

 

We are actively recruiting a ERP Business Analyst for our client in Knoxville, TN. As the ERP Business Analyst, you will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the Technology team to define business and system processes through workflows and written requirements to support the migration from our client's legacy system to Oracle ERP Cloud. This will include developing current and future state data and process maps and identifying technical gaps and remediation plans with the new system. This role will primarily focus the Oracle financials, costing and procurement modules, so experience with supply chain systems is preferred. This position is a direct-hire.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business stakeholders to learn business processes and gather business requirements
  • Partner with developers and Solutions Architect to learn legacy system and gather technical requirements
  • Map processes from current to future state, define business and tech requirements and scope, and proactively champion change to business stakeholders and development teams
  • Build constructive and effective relationships with business stakeholders and technology teams
  • Execute projects plans and work with the Product Owner to prioritize backlogs, ensuring project deliverables are met
  • Break down technical complexities so that they can be easily understood by business units and project stakeholders
  • Support technology teams in translating business requirements to ensure alignment on development plan
  • Assist business stakeholders with testing of system changes and analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate and assist with communication, training, and roll-out of new tool
  • Advocate process changes to improve and support business activities in designing future state of new platforms
  • Ensure process documentation and configuration rules remain current

 

Skills:

  • Process mapping, group facilitation, data gathering and analysis, and phases of project life cycle (requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, training, and measuring effectiveness)
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Agile methodologies
  • Supporting the transition of a legacy system to cloud-based solutions and introduce new technology features and functionality to user groups
  • Knowledge in manufacturing and supply chain (a plus)
  • Salesforce, Oracle, or other cloud-based solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members, including managers, technology professionals, and subject matter experts
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills

 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a business analyst or process or product owner
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical and business experience
