THE OPPORTUNITY

The Salesforce Quality Assurance Lead will lead the QA teams to ensure there is consistent quality within existing processes and will work to build automated processes to reduce technical errors and delays. The Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for creating new automated processes and completing training and transition with the existing team. They will also be responsible for managing the QA teams, managing the communication with the business and defining QA standards across the program.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities
  • Implement and design QA standards within the CRM group at Scholastic
  • Work with offshore QA resources to ensure QA is completed as planned using QA best practices
  • Work with the QA team to ensure they are completing QA in an efficient effective manner to minimize errors found within production
  • Develop automated QA processes to ensure code is tested to required standards prior to deployment
  • Work to develop regression testing plans and automation to assist with deployment process
  • Understand Scholastic's overall system landscape, SF data model, SF sharing and visibility, SF security models in place
  • Understand and track overall SF "health" based on key quality metrics
  • Closely monitor the current implementation bottlenecks and immediately inform Director of Engineering of potential production bugs

Qualifications

HOW YOU CAN FIT (Qualifications)
  • BA or BS in a technical discipline
  • 5+ years of technology experience
  • Have an extensive understanding of SFDC best practices around QA processes, environment strategies and testing types
  • Experience with working with multiple test automation tools: Selenium, Cucumber, ACCELQ, Katalon, etc.
  • Strong leadership skills, experience in leading QA teams
  • Experience working with a diverse agile engineering team working on a number of different coordinated projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in agile software engineering methods, specifically providing engineering leadership as part of an agile organization.
  • Driven collaborative mindset that will push through barriers in the face of ambiguous situations.
  • Continuous learner, able to adapt quickly to new technologies in a challenging and high-growth environment.
  • Powerful communicator, in both verbal and written form, able to articulate concepts and ideas, break through barriers, engage people, and work effectively with others under pressure.
  • Education sector experience is not required, but highly preferred
