Position Description
Government Secure Solutions CGI, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager who will be responsible for the overall Quality Management System (QMS) of our North Charleston facility. The QA manager will ensure the consistent quality of products and\or services by implementing quality control standards to all processes which certifies that our required contract deliverables are in compliance with the QMS and contract quality standards. The QA manager will provide overall quality management, supervision and guidance to all GSSC team members with the goal of continuously improving the QMS. The QA Manager must be personable and able to interact with various customers efficiently and effectively. Interaction with internal personnel is also vital for implementation of a quality management system that is embraced by the workforce. Your future duties and responsibilities
* Maintains and improves the QMS by implementing the guidelines established in ISO 9001 and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
* Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance/quality for the QMS and ensure the promotion and awareness of our QMS throughout the organization.
* Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans; preparing and completing quality action plans and collaborating with other members of management to develop project schedules and resource allocation for QA related activities.
* Develops quality assurance plans and metrics for the QMS for all functional areas. Monitors the QMS by conducting process analyses, identifying critical control points, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and assist in validation and verification of test procedures.
* Maintain product\services quality consistancy throughout the design and production cycle, to include quality checkpoints, testing and validation of quality processes and procedures.
* Manage the planning and execution of quality assurance tasking to include all associated resources to meet projects committed delivery dates.
* Prepares quality documentation and reports by and collecting, analyzing and summarizing information, statistics and trends.
* Support technical review of project documentation to include, but not limited to technical manuals, field changes, equipment test procedures, drawing packages and systems verification and validation reports. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
* BS degree and a minimum of 5 years, AS degree and a minimum of 10 years or HS equivalency and 15 years directly related quality experience in the systems engineering and integration business area. technical or engineering discipline preferred, but not required.
* Experience and expertise in the ISO 9001 processes and methodologies.
* Strong analytical skills; proficiency in data collection, analysis and presentation.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

* Ability to maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required.
* Ability to travel up to 25% or less.
* Work schedule must be flexible in order to manage quality control and to ensure product/service contract delivery dates are achieved.

DESIRED Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

* Supervisory experience
* Lean / Six Sigma experience is preferred, but not required
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, VISIO)
* Cooperative spirit; ability to lead and work with teams from various functional areas.
