Job Description

Title: Quality Supervisor


STG is a Preferred Vendor of a major Automotive Firm in MI. The client is looking for Quality Supervisor. Selected candidate will be expected to work on site in Warren, Sterling Heights, Detroit - Michigan 100% of the time


Responsibilities and responsibilities:

  • Schedule and implement the construction, maintenance and repair programs for facility related equipment.
    Manufacturing / Assembly Plant experience
    Two (2) years of quality related experience
    Lead Auditor Certifications and Practical experience
    The Quality Supervisor is an integral part of a company whose focus is to change the automotive landscape.
    The Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a group of UAW represented employees.
    The Quality Supervisor is responsible for creating, implementing and sustaining vehicle control plans to prevent the outflow of defects to the customer.
    The Quality Supervisor must be a creative problem solver, proactive and steadfast in the identification and resolution of vehicle quality issues.
  • The selected individual will have outstanding teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills. Moreover, this person must have unquestioned integrity.
    The candidate must have a proven track record for developing and executing standardization.
    The Quality Supervisor should have proven experience in both supplier and quality areas.
    The candidate will have a broad knowledge of the entire automotive engineering, manufacturing, testing and quality landscape.


  • Completed Bachelor's degree
    5 year’s experience in conveyor design/installation with the ability to manage all aspects of Facility/Conveyor installations In General Assembly at Vehicle Assembly Plants.
  • Will assist in developing standards for conveyors and work with the OEM's during detailed design reviews and installation.
  • Ensure program cost and timing is achieved.
    Electrical controls knowledge


Travel and Driving Requirements: Will be required to drive a company car. Valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.
Will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
