Our direct client in financial industry looking for a Fulltime Full Stack Developer (C#, .Net, Python) in the research team, you will be building the tools, frameworks, libraries and applications which power our Systematic Research and Trading. This includes responsibility for the continued success of the existing platform, and its evolution as we continually expand the markets and types of assets we trade, and the styles in which we trade them. Your challenges will be varied and might involve building new high-performance data acquisition and processing pipelines, cloud-computing solutions, numerical algorithms, visualization and reporting tools, operational user interfaces, continuous build systems and other developer productivity tools.
Responsibilities and Qualifications of Software Developer
8+ years of Software engineering experience, our tech stack includes primarily C#, .Net, Microsoft SQL Server is Must!!!!
Familiarity with a variety of programming styles (e.g. OO, functional) and in-depth knowledge of design patterns.
Proficient with a range of open source frameworks and development tools e.g. NumPy/SciPy/Pandas, AngularJS, Flink, Spark, etc is a plus!
Solid understanding of high performing data structures, distributed systems, and modern distributed data pipeline technologies.
Implement web interfaces, API's and RESTful services.
Work closely with infrastructure to build high scale backend services.
Refining, and increasing automation of the research infrastructure in all its components.
Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
Maintain code integrity and organization.
A proponent of strong collaborative software engineering techniques and methods: agile development, continuous integration, code review, unit testing, refactoring and related approaches.
