The Quoting & Pricing Assistant position is an ideal position for someone who is interested in getting started in the telecom/technology field. They will assist in the pre-sale process supporting the Sales team and Account Managers. Primary responsibilities include producing pricing proposals for SD-WAN, MPLS, Internet, VoIP, SIP Services, Hosted IP & UCaaS, for sales opportunities received from sales, vendor sourcing and evaluating vendor quotes, sales order review and submission to Project Management. Profitability reports evaluating pricing and margins for specific proposals and product lines. Customer communications for order interview when necessary. This position will include assisting in maintaining product documentation, supplier and cost information and will aid sales personnel on an ongoing basis.
This position will report to the Vice President of Vendor Relations. This position will be responsible for working directly with others individually throughout the company and outside the company with applicable vendors. Will serve as a team member in coordinating product and pre-sales support across the entire company.

Basic courtesy and diplomatic abilities are very important to this position. Ability to drive projects within other groups within and outside of the company. Must drive projects in such a way that gets the job done ahead of schedule yet maintains a team spirit with employees of other groups. Must always be committed to providing exceptional service to stakeholder organizations. Must be able to remain calm and professional in even the most demanding, stressful situations.
Effectively communicate conditions, situations, problems, and present solutions to both management and field support personnel. Candidate should be able to take direction and accomplish duties and assignments with minimum of supervision.
Must have good visual and auditory acuity to be able to use a personal computer terminal and telephone. Must be able to work in a normal office environment. This position is located in New York City. The functions of this job require less than 25% of the employee’s time in off-site travel. Initial training period may require travel to our New Jersey office.
