Our client is currently seeking a RAQA Project Manager. This is NOT and IT position. Candidates should have experience managing quality/regulatory projects within the medical device industry.
Plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion. Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes. Manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs. This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. This position requires professional mastery of a specialized field of expertise that typically requires a college degree or equivalent. The job requires professional knowledge gained through substantial applicable work experience, to supplement formal knowledge, in order to apply principles and concepts of own subject/technical discipline in resolving issues as they arrive. The job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 4 or more years experience.
Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field
Formal program/project management training or coursework highly preferred
PMP Certification highly preferred
oPractical program leadership/project management experience
oDemonstrated Organization skills
oDemonstrated ability to independently initiate work and assume responsibility for work that spans functional departments
oDemonstrated written and verbal communication skills
oApplied knowledge of Microsoft applications, including MS Project and Visio
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
oCommunicate frequently across all project disciplines to ensure both team and senior management are aware of upcoming milestones and risks/issues.
oConduct regular meetings with project teams to resolve issues and risks, maintain engagement/focus, and share updates with all team members.
oCreate and maintain program/project documentation (e.g. charter, roadmap/pipeline, risks and opportunities, lessons learned, etc.) to meet business goals and program objectives.
oMaintain timelines with regular updates to re-project milestones, monitor critical path, and calculate launch dates while maintaining baseline data.
oCoordinate with project leaders to foresee/understand critical project activities and to enable them to manage team resources and tasks to avoid critical path slippage.
oPartner with project team members to maintain engagement and focus on project commitments and dependencies.
oCreate, maintain, and utilize project templates for various types of Quality/Regulatory projects.
oTrack and forecast project performance with respect to timeline and budget.
oDevelop and maintain project status tracking and reporting tools.
oImprove team performance by building team cohesiveness, leading, influencing, training, mentoring and motivating to facilitate cooperation, ensure efficiency, and boost morale.Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
