As the company shifts into hyper-growth mode, they’re looking for some key players to join the technical team in Austin, Texas! One of the top priorities is to find an experienced Senior Software Engineering Manager who has excelled in leading SaaS platform teams.

What you get to do:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, development teams, and development managers to generate practicable roadmaps
  • Utilize your deep understanding of APIs, back-end services, and datastores to lead engineering teams in the development of complex SaaS-based software
  • Continue honing and growing your people management skills through thoughtful feedback, coaching, collaboration, and support from senior leadership
  • Play a key role in the hiring process for your development teams, including recruiting and on-going coaching
  • Remove roadblocks and manage competing priorities as you ensure the timely delivery of high-quality SaaS solutions

What you need to succeed:

  • 3+ years of experience managing and coaching development managers as well as software engineering teams working on back-end APIs
  • Track record of success in software engineering roles prior to moving into management role(s)
  • Recent leadership/management experience within SaaS environment(s)
  • Previous experience hiring, mentoring, and motivating software development teams
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills as you’ll be interfacing with stakeholders regularly
