Job Description


TAD PGS, INC. is currently seeking a Senior Records Management Specialist for one of our clients in Ft. Meade, MD.





**Candidate must possess an Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance with CI Polygraph.**





Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the system for managing command records for DoD Activity

Collect data and assist in the preparation of statistical reports for management on all phases of record center operations

Provides input, develops, and/or conduct records management training and education for Command employees based on role

Experienced TS/SCI records management programs

Ensuring that records and necessary technical programmatic information about records created, are maintained in a usable format for the life of the record protected by privacy, confidentiality, security and user access controls, and ultimately dispositioned appropriately

Design and administer records management systems and processes

Conduct the review, analyses, and processing of all administrative publications of the command or changes thereto in accordance with established guidelines

Identify, document, and advise senior personnel of the adequacy of documentation creation and storage of records

Inform management personnel of current and projected operational requirements, issues, applicable document retention requirement matters in accordance with appropriate records management policies and regulations

Knowledge of records management instructions, regulations, policies, directives, and procedures

Responsible for maintaining advanced proficiency regarding records management and imaging procedures and equipment

Develop briefings and deliver records management briefings to groups to inform Command personal on record management policies and procedures



Qualifications:



TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph required

Bachelor s degree or Skilled years equivalent



Candidate must have 7-10+ years of experience in establishing record control processes, record control schedules, and file plans within the cleared space. Knowledge of how digital files are stored on personal computers, network file servers and off-line media such as CDs, backup tapes, and optical storage devices. Experience with control of acquisition records preferred. Bachelor's degree in Information Management/Information Science, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. Will consider substitution of significant work experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree. Strong MS Office skills. Strong oral and written communication skills.
