Position: Recruiting/Sales Intern- Summer internship 2018

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey

The Recruiting Intern's focus will be sourcing candidates for open positions using internal and external resume databases. This position requires a self-starter with a high level of attention to detail, who is well organized with strong follow through skills. As a Recruiting Intern, you will gain valuable recruiting experience as you assist with ongoing projects and daily activities. You will provide administrative support by assisting with job postings and processing applicants.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing candidates for open positions using internal & external resume databases
  • Calling and emailing potential candidates
  • Conducting phone screens and scheduling on-site interviews
  • Tracking candidate sourcing and pipeline information
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor’s in Human Resources or Marketing, or Business Program
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • Strong proficiency in MS office
  • Previous experience with an applicant tracking system is a strong plus
  • Previous experience with IT recruitment is a strong plus
  • Exceptional ability to network and build relationships
  • A basic level of comfort with technology and an aptitude to learn more
