Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

Keep the Portal Development teams moving in the right direction: The Train's ability to meet business needs is the highest objective
RTEs help facilitate and coordinate the events that allow the teams to be successful in that execution. They coordinate Train level events for sprint and PI planning and feedback
RTEs constantly inspect and adapt to increase efficiencies and improve Agile maturity
They escalate removal of impediments to agile teams and coordinate dependencies between Agile Release Trains (ARTs)

Mentor: RTEs help the Train improve their agile maturity. They provide thought leadership and recommendations across the program. They also actively contribute to the Agile communities

Create and maintain partnerships: The Train leadership (business, execution, and IT) must be in sync on their vision, plan, and execution practices. If they are not, they may create confusion among the teams. RTEs play a key role in creating partnerships at the Train level that build trust and respect. They seek to foster a team collaborative environment that tears down silos between groups-helping them act as a whole
Manage of optimize the flow of value through ART (Agile Release Train) and Solution Train using various Tools such as Program and Solution Kanban and other information radiators
Involved in high - level solutioning discussions and drive the discussions towards resolution at Solution Capability, Strategic Theme level using various modes of communications such as PMC, JAD sessions, E2E Collaboration sessions. Schedule PMC (Product Management Council) meetings with team, Business Product Owners to make them aware of requirements and explaining the need of the application in client's business
Organization of status reports, dependency meetings to manage, coordinate, planning and execution of the project in SAFe Agile Environment
Focus on success for the team and ensure timely deliverables and support team till production implementation
Conduct status and staff meetings, operational review meetings and Prepare metrics, Project tracking, causal analysis and project status reports to company and customer management
Ensure proper utilization of human resources, assigning the work from functional & technical perspectives and Work Allocation and Task assignment to the teams and scrum masters
Interact with Quality team regarding any quality related information for the deliverable

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
1+ years of work experience as a Release Train Engineer using Agile delivery frameworks OR 3+years of work experience as a Scrum Master using Agile delivery frameworks
3+ years managing virtual and global teams
5+ years of working hands-on with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle
Experience working in a large matrixed environment

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of IT Project Management
