Job Description

Berean Group is seeking a Remote Benefits Program Manager with Schneider Electric

Location:  Schaumburg IL 60173 

Support: Remote

Core Responsibilities:

          Benefit program design, development, alignment and delivery aligned to both Global and Local business drivers.

          Provides oversight for administration and expert knowledge on all related total rewards program components

          Execute strategies to achieve process/policy efficiencies, cost avoidance and cost reductions

          Participation in external total reward surveys and networks as required. Interpret, validate and analyze output accordingly to provide recommendations and anticipate emerging trends in relevant marketplace

          Mergers & Acquisitions experience (analysis)

          Partners with external vendors and IPO to ensure that appropriate technology is in place to support all total rewards programs and provide the best employee/user experience

          Conducts ongoing review of total rewards programs to ensure compliance with all law regulations

          Provides excellent customer service to HRBP's, managers and employees with questions and/or issue resolution

          Conducts ongoing review to ensure effectiveness of compensation programs in driving employee performance


Experience developing and leading total rewards programs including:

          Benefits (knowledge)

          Knowledge of related federal laws and regulations related to HR policies and ACA legislation; including the healthcare exchange, benefit plan administration, and leaves of absence

          Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information

          Highly organized with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks/projects

          Strong communication skills; ability to write well and present in front of a large audience, as well as senior leaders

          Ability to take initiative, be innovative, and work independently

          Excellent project management and collaboration skills and strong attention-to-detail

          Experience in managing vendor relationships, establishing expectations and performance guarantees

          Required Education and/or Experience:

          Education Level University/bachelor’s degree or Equivalent

          7+ years plus experience within HR/Finance of which at least the last 5 should be in the Benefits related specialism

          Proven experience of handling complex integration and alignment projects and successfully implementing change

          Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required, including demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel

          Knowledge of an HR database system required 


Start Time:       8:00 AM

Hours:  8:00am to 5:00pm
