Job Description:

Preferred skils are ELK Stack, team city, scipy, artifactory, and data configuration.

The Sr Python Developer/Solution Architect will be taking direction from the Program Manager to work primarily with implementation and deployment activities utilizing Python and APIs.

In the existing environment, calls are made directly to the database. As part of integration to the parent company systems, they are standing up APIs and migrating Python code to make database calls through the APIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Follows standards and industry best practices with regard to the design, diagramming, development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications.
  • Coordinates with stakeholders to integrate new applications into the existing infrastructure, and makes sure that existing applications are functionally appropriate and working smoothly.
  • Contributes technical expertise to the management team and assists in the evaluation, requirements gathering, time estimation, and planning of software projects across the organization.
  • Designs and implements technical solutions in various languages (Python, C#, HTML5, JavaScript), databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Elasticsearch), frameworks (Docker, NumPy, SciPy, Node.js, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac).
  • Designs and diagrams future state architecture for post integration environment
