Bioelectronica is seeking a part-time or full-time technical laboratory engineer who can help prototype and engineer our software-controlled biochemistry devices.
The ideal candidate will be curious to expand outside their current skill set, and have experience in some (but not all) of the following disciplines: biomedical engineering, biochemistry, biotechnology, mechanical engineering and fluidics, chemical engineering, software engineering, electronics.
Some skills may include:
Chemistry: comfortable in a lab setting; ability to conduct wet-lab experiments.
Knowledge of robotic lab automation with software is a plus
Knowledge of electronics (desired but can train): soldering, experience with oscilloscope, basic
Knowledge of Drop-Seq, Single Cell Libraries, Proteomics
ELISA, Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, and related analytical technique
Assembly of mechanical devices: light fabrication skills and fluidics experience desirable.
Assay development and/or protein purification experience is a plu
