Job Description

Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Risk Manager with a secret clearance that can integrate tightly into a Government team where the individual staff members are all expert in their subject areas. This position requires an Cybersecurity analyst who can develop, evaluate, and analyze services, programs, and projects and assist the engineers and project managers in defining known, systemic, or evolving risk profiles that can be used to mitigate risks during development, testing, and operations. The risk manager must quickly adapt to rapidly changing priorities, identify and help develop integration between various efforts; and experienced in identifying, documenting, socializing, and tracking risks through all phases from the identification to the mitigation and concluding with the continuous monitoring.

The risk manager, closely integrated with the Government and contractor engineering and IA counterparts, will have primary ownership of the project deliverables and will monitor risks and their impact on cost, schedule, and performance using tools like Microsoft Excel, Project, and other risk management tools. They will have daily interactions with subject matter experts, schedulers, and program acquisition managers and will provide day-to-day updates to the project team. They will be responsible for developing the detailed risk structure and leading an internal Government and contractor team who will review the identified risks and develop a probability matrix for impact.

This work is expected to be accomplished from a Ft Meade, MD Government location or contractor facility with potential infrequent local travel to a Virginia Government location.

Requirements include:
" Excellent Oral and Written communications skills
" Experience providing support and guidance within risk management for PEO programs and initiatives
" Ability to develop and implement a proactive risk management strategy across a PEO
" Experience with assessing and implementing the DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
" Experience with USCYBERCOM Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) process
" Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)
" Ability to develop comprehensive Risk Management Plan with a repeatable Risk Management Strategy
" Ability to develop a tool to document and track the risk inventory, impact assessment of the risk, owner of the risk, probability assessment risk will happen, management recommendation, and mediation cost
" Experience with a wide range of computer systems and security tools
" Knowledge of DISA processes, procedures and culture such as Penetration testing Ports, protocol and services management
" Understanding of the impacts of various Information Assurance (IA) issues throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
" Ability to be flexible, show initiative and innovation, and deal with ambiguous and fast-paced situations
" Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills
" Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
" Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
" Ability to critically assess data and communicate priority findings to teams
" Ability to work with multi-stakeholder, technical, and matrixed organizational environment
" Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage client and team relationships
" Strong IT skills and knowledge including hardware, software and networks
" Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of IT systems
" A forensic approach to challenges
" Holds or in the process of completing Information Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSEC, GCIA)
" Experience working with diverse teams of contractors
" Experience with DoD acquisition and support of major milestones and how a risk matrix is presented to the milestone decision authority
" Security + certification
" Experience with the DoD and NSS Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

Education includes:
" AA or BS Degree in Information Assurance, Cyber Security, Incident Response, Security Management, or discipline directly related to Cyber Security OR five (5) years specialized experience (Required)
" Bachelor's Degree in IT related field (Desired)
