RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an SAP/4HANA Product Owner in Plano, TX.

Overview:
Are you a hands-on SAP expert ready to lead a major financial transformation? We're seeking a strategic SAP S/4HANA Product Owner to drive the implementation, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of SAP Public Cloud solutions. You will serve as the in-house SAP trainer and subject matter expert, guiding teams through the transition from JD Edwards to SAP S/4HANA. This role blends product ownership, solution architecture, and project leadership, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders, implementation partners, and internal teams.

You will define and own the SAP roadmap, architect scalable solutions, and oversee end-to-end deployment-including workshops, data migration, testing, and go-live. You will collaborate with finance, operations, and procurement, prioritize features, and drive adoption. The position is highly visible, reporting directly to the CIO, and will eventually report to the VP of Enterprise Systems. No direct reports, but you will work closely with project management and cross-functional teams.

This is a direct hire role, onsite 4 days/week in Plano (1 remote day). No travel is required except for occasional conferences.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Master's/MBA preferred)
* SAP certifications relevant to the role (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate/Professional)
* 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in SAP functional lead or product management roles
* Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects (minimum two full-cycle projects)
* Deep knowledge of SAP modules (FI/CO required; MM, SD, BW/BI, CRM, SRM a plus)
* Experience with cloud platforms (SAP Public Cloud, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
* Strong understanding of integration technologies (SAP PI/PO, SAP BTP)
* Accounting background preferred, but strong FICO experience without accounting is acceptable
* Excellent communication skills; Able to train teams and present technical concepts to non-technical audiences
* Leadership and project management skills; Able to drive adoption and manage stakeholders
* Experience with agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and change management frameworks
* Familiarity with JD Edwards or other legacy ERP systems and migration strategies
* Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to operate in a lean, evolving environment
* Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
* Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, senior living, manufacturing, hospitality) is a plus
