An International, successful, extremely profitable and the largest global privately held medical software/hardware Company is looking for a SAP FICO Functional Analyst. The company is privately held, has been in business for 65+ years, has $1+ Billion in revenue, has 5K+ employees, is extremely profitable and has never laid-off an employee.

The company is running ECC 6.0 and has several projects scheduled for the enhancement of the SAP FICO modules. The SAP FICO Functional Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Upgrading, enhancing and supporting the SAP FICO modules for a global company
  • Collecting and reviewing business requirements, recognizing gaps in business processes, creating functional designs, data and functional mapping, undertaking hands on configuration of modules, liaising with developers, performing unit and integration tests and analyzing results.
  • Perform analysis of trouble tickets reported by users and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Liaise with system developers, business users and other departments in order to complete upgrades, enhancements and resolutions.

The SAP FICO Analyst reports to the Director of SAP.

Must have experience with 2 full life cycle SAP FICO implementations

Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 with expert knowledge in SAP Controlling and good experience with Finance

Must have experience in Controlling with:

  • Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting
  • Profitability Analysis
  • Product Costing for both Manufacturing and Sales & Distribution entities
  • Order used for statistical and real internal orders; Production and Service Management
  • Financial Planning

Knowledge in Finance module with:

  • Master Data Management
  • Functional Area
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Asset Accounting
  • Special Purpose Ledger
  • Month End/Year End Closing
  • Consolidations
  • Reconciliations
  • Intercompany Transactions
  • Financial Reporting

Should have experience integrating FICO with SD, CRM, CS and/or PP

The following are a Plus only (NOT mandatory):

  • OpenText
  • Any experience with S/4 HANA Finance and Project Systems a plus
  • SAP Process modelling
  • Any other SAP modules a plus
  • ITIL
