Job Description

Job Profile Summary

The SAP FICO functional analyst is expected to interpret business requirements into SAP functional design. They need to be able to influence these requirements so that they are SAP-centric and will work within the constraints of the clients SAP system. The functional analyst must also be able to perform and actual configuration changes and test them; ensuring the system functionality meets the expectation of the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Respond to and track daily incidents (tickets)
  • Oversee other team members to ensure that work assignments are progressing/being completed.
  • Be primary liaison to the client management team.

Qualifications:

Experience/Education Required

  • Experience in User support and defect troubleshooting and testing
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience writing specification documentation
  • Regression Testing
  • Sales and Use Tax
  • Treasury and Banking Interfaces, as well as their integration with AP and AR
  • Profit Center Accounting
  • COPA – Profitability Analysis
  • Familiar with FI/CO tables and fields
  • Nice to have:

               Report Writer
               SAP Query
               Drilldown Reporting
               COPA Reporting.

  • Experience with both SAP 4.5 and ECC 6
  • Experience with Solution Manager (SolMan) and testing and release processes
  • Experience with the FICO functional model within SAP.
  • Experience in SAP cross-functional areas such as FICO
  • Experience in both functional and technical areas of SAP, basically a functional/techno resource
  • Systems analyst experience capable of configuration changes and programming expereince
  • Experience with systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications
  • Design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing and modification SAP FICO Modules
  • The design, documentation, testing, creation or modification of computer programs related to SAP/ FICO

We need someone who is more willing to take ownership of assignments. But it goes beyond that, the resource should own their function and call out any potential work that should be done to ensure our success. There's also a critical need for someone who is very organized to be in this role. Communication skills is another critical requirement.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
