Title: ALM Admin
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: Long Term Contract

Required:

Administrative tasks for designing and implementing HP QC Functionality

  • Experience implementing new functionality in HP QC
  • Setting up roles permissions for QC users
  • Customization and configuration of the project as per project requirement
  • Customization developing templates
  • Customizing within the dashboard/reporting module
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project and operational risks
  • Ability to coordinate activities with various teams (Vendor, ALM users, network, database, Unix) to structure solutions
  • Development and communication of tool usage best practise
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL Queries to build reports
  • Good knowledge of VB scripting and Excel Macros
  • Experienced in QC OTA API for maintenance and enhancement for internal tools.
  • Understanding of ODBC
  • Knowledge of HP Sprinter Functionality
  • Knowledge of Unix commands
  • Good hands on experience with HP UFT Tool
  • Knowledge of other automation tools like Selenium, TOSCA, Eggplant etc

Administrative tasks for Application Maintenance :

  • ALM 12.5x Installation and environment design
  • Migration of projects to ALM
  • Patch upgrade implementation
  • ALM Project creation and maintenance
  • Monitoring and proactive management of centralised shared tool services such as licence servers, databases, application services and the infrastructure that underpins these
  • Tool configuration and administration including user administration
  • Tool license utilisation monitoring and reporting
  • Integration with other HP tools
  • Enhancement of adaptors to integrate 3rd Party tools with ALM

General Requirements

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to think of new solutions and be proactive to go with a Can-do attitude.
    General knowledge of SDLC
  • Proven verbal and written skills to communicate /report to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrates leadership in the development of technical innovations and ensuring optimal collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Good understanding of Pharmaceutical regulations including 21CFR part 11 and CSV.
