Job Summary

Responsible for successful delivery of the planning and consolidation solutions using knowledge of leading practices for accounting function in SAP software components which includes SAP Business Planning and Consolidations (BPC) 10 and 10.1. Responsible for using formal methodologies during requirements gathering, design, build/test and deployment and use knowledge of leading practices within the month end close and consolidation process as well as proven experience applying and maintaining internal controls as well as configure BPC to be used for planning functionality.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Leads SAP COE teams on SAP projects, initiatives and BAU support

• Communicates SAP-enabled concepts simply and effectively to a non-technical audience

• Leads design sessions with business partners to enable SAP solutions that allow for process improvements

• Provide level-of-effort estimates for change requests

• Leads the delivery of functional requirements, use cases, interface specifications, process flows, risk and issue logs, test plans, training plans and production elevation & validation plans

• Configures SAP to meet business requirements

• Leads the testing of solutions and performs defect analysis as required

• Supports the COE work stream lead with solution recommendations, leadership activities and quality

• Performs other related duties as required

Education & Experience Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience that has provided an understanding of organizational systems and capabilities, business operations and requirements, business modeling concepts and software development methodologies
  • Hands-on experience configuring and testing SAP in support of business requirements; practical experience with the SAP SDLC process
  • Hands-on team lead experience
  • Good verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively interact and negotiate with internal/external customers; ability to maintain professionalism in accordance with corporate standards

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Experienced SAP BPC Consultant must be able to work independently with functional and technical/development skill in both Consolidation and Planning implementation with experience in data manager packages

• Knowledge of SAP BW preferably in Modeling, Reporting & Extraction (mandatory)

• Must have hands-on experience in business process design, requirement gathering, facilitating workshops and technical configurations in Business Planning, Business Budgeting, Business Forecasting and Consolidation Reporting

• Experience in report development and writing script logics

• Good experience in template building via EPM and familiar with EPM functions

• Willingness to work on Project Consulting environment.

• Ability to multi-task; to execute multiple short-term projects simultaneously.
