Sr. ERP/HER Analyst (Epic Certified)

Position Summary:

Responsible for participating in the functional enterprise-wide business process design and implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) system in the assigned clinical specialty area. Takes ownership for the processes within their clinical areas(s) and the associated project deliverables. Performs the day-to-day responsibilities of their assigned clinical areas(s) and works with team leaders and project managers to develop the project scope and monitor the status of assigned deliverable documents and activities. Responsible for identifying the impacts and requirements for enterprise business processes that support the organization's future vision for the system and for verifying that the project team is meeting its overall business objectives. Active participant in designing business processes, configuring the software, and supporting the new system. Assists with the development of scripts for system testing and integration testing. Works with the technical team in the design and development of reports, forms, interfaces and conversions. Resolves issues for areas(s) of responsibility and keeping project management and hospital leadership informed on issues or policies that need to be elevated for resolution. Performs a variety of professional level customer support activities which may vary with the clinical specialty area to which assigned, but which all relate to the support of EHR Systems for all enterprise departments and a variety of local governmental agencies.



Senior ERP Analyst – Finance or Revenue Cycle: Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Administration, Finance or a closely related field and three (3) years of full-time professional experience in finance, revenue cycle, purchasing, accounting, or related occupation. Professional level experience is defined as being employed in an FLSA exempt/salaried status position.

Senior ERP/EHR Analyst - Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in patient/clinical care related specialty or graduation from and accredited school of nursing and three (3) years of clinical experience in the appropriate specialty area.

Valid Nevada Driver''s License.

Principles and practices of public administration; administrative principles and practices, including goal setting and program development, implementation and evaluation; operational principles and concepts related to the department or functional area to which assigned; principles and practices of budget development and administration; principles and techniques of adult learning and organizational training; principles and practices of change management; project management and analytical techniques; applicable laws, codes and regulations; standard office practices and procedures; records management principles and practices; computer applications related to the work; computer programming principles; techniques and procedures for administrative and business applications; operating principles and characteristics of various computers and associated computer hardware; correct business English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation; department and hospital safety practice and procedures; patient rights; age specific patient care practices; infection control policies and practices; handling, storage, use and disposal of hazardous materials; department and hospital emergency response policies and procedures.

Skilled in:

Planning, directing and reviewing the work of others on a project or day-to-day basis; instructing others in work procedures; developing and implementing goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards; Change management techniques and practices; staff development, training and education; independently performing professional analytical and programmatic work in the areas(s) to which assigned; conducting quantitative analyses; analyzing systems and problems and developing new or modified programs to meet customer department needs; troubleshooting hardware and software problems and debugging programs and applications; instructing customer department staff in the operation of ERP/EHR computer applications, including explaining system concepts to non-technical users; using initiative and independent judgment with general policy guidelines; using computers and related software applications; communicating with a wide variety of people from diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all personnel contacted in the course of duties; efficient, effective and safe use of equipment.
